Téoros - journal of tourism research

Téoros is a journal of tourism research whose mission is to contribute to the development and dissemination of the scientific study of tourism from a multidisciplinary perspective by positioning itself as a research leader in the French-speaking world.

The journal, founded in 1982, is published twice a year. Each issue is organized around one or two thematic files headed by a guest editor. All scientific articles are evaluated by a reading committee. The journal publishes texts in French and English.

The journal is supported by the Aid to Scholarly Journals Program of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). It is an institutional journal of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and is also supported by the School of Management (ESG UQAM), the UQAM Department of Urban Studies and Tourism Studies, and the Centre de recherche sur la ville (centre for research on the city).
