About the journal

Sciences & Actions Sociales (SAS) is a scientific journal supported by the associations: ACOFIS (association of researchers of social training and social intervention organisations) and Peuple et Culture Normandie Seine. This journal publishes the results of completed or ongoing research in social sciences and in the social field (sociology, anthropology, political science, education, science, social history ...).

SAS is intended for researchers who produce knowledge on mutations of forms of regulation and social control, the transformation of political and social intervention methods in different fields (social work, justice, education, security, health, migrations...).

SAS is open to intellectual debate and the diversity of approaches to social phenomena. In this sense, SAS promotes scientific knowledge in a multidisciplinary and comparative perspective, at international, national, regional and local levels, in order to contribute to critical thinking as regards social reality in an emancipatory perspective and social transformation.

SAS is an electronic peer-reviewed journal with two or three annual issues, allowing readers to access thematic files, original scientific papers, reviews of books, personal experiences and experiments.
