Created in 1958 and published annually by the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, the Bulletin of the KIK-IRPA publishes original articles on the history of the arts in current-day Belgium, the former Southern Netherlands, and the Principality of Liège, and their influence on Europe and the rest of the world. The journal focuses on the period from the Middle Ages to the nineteenth century and takes a classic, object-oriented, monographic approach. It features innovative contributions in the area of connoisseurship, in so far as it is placed in a sociological, political and/or cultural context. The journal publishes articles in English, French or Dutch.Latest issue
