Presentation

The Revue d’Allemagne et des pays de langue allemande, a pluridisciplinary review, created in 1969, is dedicated to the study of the societies of the Germanic regions from the eighteenth century to nowadays. It covers an area including not only Germany, Austria and the German-speaking Switzerland but also regions related historically with the Germanic worlds: the Baltic States, Central and Eastern Europe, also areas that show the presence of German minorities all over the world. The journal analyses all the aspects and topical issues of the Germanic regions with the help of the methods of the various social sciences, by replacing them in a historic long-term perspective.
